ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent position workinga Monday to Thursday roster, with 10‑hour days. This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.

As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie. 

As the Coordinator Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading the coordination of maintenance activities to deliver safe, efficient and reliable plant performance across a defined area.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Engaging maintenance and production teams to prioritise and execute planned work safely and efficiently across the refinery.
  • Co-ordinate internal and contractor electrical resources to facilitate Minor and Major Outage maintenance activities.
  • Perform Job Owner responsibilities for Electrical Department Contractors in line with the Contractor Management Standard.
  • Support, Coach and Mentor the electrical leadership team to meet Company and Statutory regulations.

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Communicating clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders
  • Applying technical judgement to support safe and effective maintenance outcomes
  • Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Coaching others and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Using systems and data to monitor performance and support decision-making

Qualifications for this position are:  

  • Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Diploma or Trade Certificate.
