About the role
This is a permanent full-time role being offered on a 7:7 roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
As the Mobile Maintenance Coordinator at GEMCO, you will be responsible for developing and executing mobile maintenance activities at the mine. Reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Maintenance, you will be supported in your efforts in continually seeking to improve our maintenance practices and mobile equipment performance across the operation.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that 1SAP Week 1 preparation and execution are completed in order to ensure the efficient running of the GEMCO fleet maintenance management system
• Interface effectively with Maintenance and Mine Planning and Mining Coordinators to achieve GEMCO business objectives
• Develop strategies, procedures and tools focusing on well-designed work
• Maintain and develop positive relationships across the business to support the delivery of GEMCO’s KPIs
• Conduct all required safety audits and observations and lead investigations into workplace incidents
About you
You will have experience working in a similar role within the Mining industry and have good understanding of relevant Mining Regulations.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
• Trade Certificate, Degree, Associate Diploma or experience in a relevant field
• Experience with SAP work management – preferable
• Knowledge of basic Health, Safety and Environmental principles in and around a workplace
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships at all levels
