We are looking for a motivated Coordinator to join our Mine Production team at Yandicoogina.

This role presents a great opportunity for an individual with strong leadership and well-developed communication skills to work within a dynamic open pit mining environment. You will undertake a range of support activities to assist the Supervisor’s and enable them to lead the team in a safe and efficient manner. You will actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices with the aim of driving consistent performance and innovation in relation to safety, cost, and production.

Reporting to the Supervisor and working 8 days on; 6 days off / 7 days on; 7 days off roster, the ideal candidate will have strong experience working in an AHS mining environment with the ability to understand mine plans, development priorities and design sheets. You will also bring:

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Demonstrated experience across both mining load & haul and development
• Proven experience leading an operational team in a Controller or Coordinator capacity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Alignment to our values of Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, and Excellence
• Work management knowledge and experience
• A current Australian driver's license

Where you’ll be working

Located 95km north-west of Newman, Yandicoogina offers a range of fly in fly out rosters. As one of Australia's largest-producing iron ore mines; operating a fleet of autonomous trucks and drills, it generates more than 55 million tonnes of Hammersley Iron Yandi (HIY) fines each year.
