About the role

We currently have an opportunity available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to step into a Coordinator role to support out high performing Plant Maintenance team.

This is a great opportunity for motivated, safety conscious individual who is seeking a development pathway into a frontline leadership role.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on a residential roster or an 8 & 6 roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. 

Reporting to the Supervisor Plant Maintenance, you will be:

  • Assist Supervisors with ensuring the maintenance teams follow all the elements of the Work Management process and provide coaching where required.
  • Assist Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors, daily, with the assignment of all planned and unplanned work for the maintenance teams.
  • Work with Maintenance scheduler to prioritize the forward log, identify emergent work and develop the weekly work schedule.
  • Assist the Supervisor in reviewing the weekly work management metrics and develop work management improvement plans.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure reliability and availability targets are maintained to the business requirements.
  • Undertaking acting duties when the Supervisor is absent and liaising with other departments in a professional manner 

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A current C Class driver’s license
  • Relevant trade qualification, with strong and demonstrated knowledge of fixed plant equipment, breakdown management experience
  • Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing, and coaching team members (Highly Desirable)
  • An uncompromising positive safety attitude 
  • Strong communication skills and be comfortable liaising with various stakeholders
  • Be highly self-motivated and being able to demonstrate a history of continuous improvement
