About the Role

This position will include the following duties:   

  • Reporting to the Processing Production Superintendent; you will work closely with both the Processing Engineers and the Production Execution teams while also having key relationships with IPRO, Rail, Fixed Plant Maintenance, Engineering, MCoE, and Mining teams.
  • Coordinate through the use of process control systems, the operation of the production plant, equipment and infrastructure, overseeing compliance with operating standards, procedures, work instructions and defined processes, to achieve optimal OFR and OOR production outcomes to target.
  • Review, approve, and close out Processing Production work management activities in SAP
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the run-down Gantt schedule in consultation with isolation coordinators and FPM shutdown team.
  • Responsible for identifying and executing pre-shut cleaning, preparation, and contractor management.
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives that contribute value to the business from a processing production perspective, ensuring compliance to the Change Management Procedure.
  • Execution of value-adding projects as directed by the Processing Production Superintendent.
  • Actively participate in creating an inclusive workplace.
  • Cultivate positive stakeholder relationships through effective communication and consultation. 
  • Take a proactive approach in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour.
  • Provide relief for the Superintendent of Processing Production as required.  

About You

The following attributes and experience will be highly regarded in this position: 

  • The successful candidate will show proven leadership and/ or supervisory experience, demonstrating a focus on safety and efficiency, and an ability to approach challenges as opportunities for improvement.
  • Previous experience in fixed plant shutdowns, fixed plant control, and/ or processing production highly advantageous.
  • Systems knowledge of 1SAP & other production systems such as PiVision, AMPLA & Citect will be highly advantageous.
  • You should have a flexible approach - while this is a FIFO Roster: 8:6 you may be required to work alternate rosters, given business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Coaching and development of peers.
  • Contractor management framework experience required.
  • Current unrestricted West Australian ‘C’ class driver’s license.
