We are looking for a Coordinator Production to join our Mine Operations team at Marandoo. This role presents a great opportunity for an individual with strong leadership and well-developed communication skills to work within a dynamic open pit mining environment.
You will undertake a range of support activities to assist the Supervisor’s and enable them to lead the team in a safe and efficient manner. You will actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices with the aim of driving consistent performance and innovation in relation to safety, cost, and production.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will
- Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards, policies and procedures
- Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance,encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
- Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
- Coordinate all aspects production including liaising with supervisors and maintenance personnel, and coordinating the timely completion of production/development between engineering and operations
- Coordinate daily operational activities and execute the daily PLOD, ensuring activities are aligned to planned development and production forecasts and budgets
- Provide support to the Supervisor on all activities and provide coverage when on leave/absent

Where you’ll be working
The Marandoo mine is located at the foot of Mount Bruce adjacent to the Karijini National Park, 50 km east of the town of Tom Price. Marandoo is known for its picturesque hills and mountain ranges. Our operation currently employs a fly-in fly-out workforce.
