ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position on a 7:7 roster, DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine, is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

As the Coordinator Production, you will be responsible to provide technical expertise, leadership and oversee the day and week mining production execution of production activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources over both short-term and long-term planning horizon such that the required work at Worsley is completed in a coordinated manner and in compliance with the relevant safety & technical standards.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 
 
•    Lead the team to operate the production processes and equipment safely and in accordance with the production schedule, process specifications and the Operation’s technical standards.
•    Provide input into production strategies, budgets, and plans as well as the improvement of work management processes and critical controls for material risks.
•    Provide input to the production day, week and monthly planning and scheduling horizon process and ensure all work is achievable and aligned.
•    Drive solutions to resolve systemic problems in process, technical and people support capabilities to improve overall results for maintenance and care of asset.

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  

•    Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and the ability to form effective working relationships.
•    Exceptional safety leadership with the ability to identify and eliminate hazards in the workplace.
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels including internal and external stakeholders.
•    Proficiency in a production mining area with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience. 
•    Detail knowledge of procedures relating to the operation of production equipment is required. 
•    Demonstrated Capability to successfully lead a team and influence others.

Desirable Qualifications for this position are:  

•    Completion of a Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate;
•    Qualifications in a mining related discipline.
