About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to utilise your leadership and supervisory skills to develop a career as Coordinator of Structural Integrity within a key BHP asset. You will be responsible for the consistency of all corrective work, particularly within various trades and ensuring any relevant planning is anticipated and attended to.  Your typical workday will consist of a mix of 'field' and 'office-focused' work. Ideally you will have similar experience in mining, construction or related industries.

Direct Reports and Core Accountabilities

Direct Reports include:  

  • Scheduler
  • Logistics officer
  • Contractor Boilermaker Supervisors
  • Contractor Paint Supervisors
  • Roof team
  • Fitter

Core Accountabilities:  

  • Project Budget Control
  • Initiate all funds request for structural Integrity
  • Coordinate contractor Supervisors
  • Coordinate work fronts
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling of work
  • Coordinate structural / Bund / Roof inspections
  • Coordinate Structural DMIRS actions completion
  • Coordinate Preventative structural Maintenance
  • Close out projects and ensure drawings / blueprints are updated  

About You

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:  

  •  Strong Communication Skills
  • Proven problem-solving
  • Ability to collaborate, motivate and influence to achieve goals
  • Supervisory experience
  • Planning is highly desirable
  • SAP knowledge
  • Trade qualification will be highly regarded
  • Microsoft project experience is highly desirable
