About the Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Coordinator to join our Technology Operations team! This brand new role will be responsible for coordinating, scoping and planning interactions within our underground mine on behalf of our Technology Team.
This role is a 8 days on, 6 days off dayshift only roster with the opportunity for either FIFO/BIBO from Adelaide or Residential in Roxby downs, South Australia.
The successful candidate will work towards the delivery of value-adding maintenance, planning and improvement initiatives to ensure a high level of availability for our underground communications infrastructure.
The main job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Demonstrating commitment to customer service both internal and external to the team
- Scoping and planning Technology changes in accordance with the mine plan and design
- Coaching and mentoring apprentices in understanding coordination activities
- Empowering the wider team to deliver and improve on results through continuous improvement
- Monitoring and verifying the quality of executed work in the field, including field leadership
- Managing multiple stakeholder engagements across a number of departments
- Providing leadership coverage within the team when required
- Updating drawing databases and associated documentation
About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Background in a technical or planning field
- Passion for team work, continuous improvement and a positive attitude
- Understanding of risk management
- Exposure to mining or heavy industry environments
- Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Equipment experience / exposure to (desirable):
- Digital radio and leaky feeder systems
- Fibre optic networks
- Drawing platforms (eg Deswick)
- Underground mining processes
