About the role

We are looking for Coordinators within ancillary and or drill to join our Shutdown Teams across various sites in the Pilbara. You will support the people scheduling and coordinating activities of the Supervisor as well as coordinate daily operational activities ensuring they are aligned to planned shutdown management activities

You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.  You’ll work on a fly in, fly out, 8 days on; 6 days off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. 

Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Equipment Maintenance, you will:

  • Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards, policies and procedures
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices
  • Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
  • Provide coverage for the Supervisor when on leave/absent
  • Accountable for parts processes, including urgent parts process, critical parts upgrades, ensuring parts availability and parts bookings for breakdowns, core returns
  • Assist with CMS and onboarding activities
  • Review completed paperwork to ensure it is completed correctly
  • Document management in line with Shut management process

What you’ll bring

  • Computer Literacy (SAP Experience, Microsoft Suite) 
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy (for Scheduling and Planning) 
  • Trained in Work & Shut Management Process
  • Understanding of work management and business solution processes
  • Technical Understanding of MEM and ability to learn quickly
  • People leadership, communication and self-motivation
  • A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence (Manual) 
  • Statutory Position Legal Exam – Statutory Supervisor (desirable)
