We are currently seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join our dynamic and high-performing team in our Fortitude Valley office.

Duties will include:

  • Conducting market research and analysis on the mining sector and potential opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Developing financial models and valuation scenarios for various projects and transactions.
  • Preparing presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal and external parties such as business units, legal, finance, tax, and advisors.

About You:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • No experience necessary, but a keen interest and willingness to learn about the mining industry and corporate development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills as well as excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience at an investment back highly regarded.
  • Available to commence as soon as possible.
