Cost Controller

Work Location: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

This role requires knowledge and experience with Cost Control, Reporting and Analysis. Responsibilities of this role include providing cost control reports, raising POs, reviewing of invoices, estimating accruals before End of Month, allocate expenses to cost centres and WBSs.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Update budget, commitment, incurred and forecast costs in the cost control database and reporting system.
• Coordinate the development and provision of monthly cost forecast reports
• Facilitate and manage monthly Cost Forecast reviews with Project Managers.
• Support the Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order Process
• Review invoices/claims against actuals and Terms and Conditions of the contracts
• Estimate accruals before End of Month

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Minimum of 2 years cost control experience
• A clear understanding of costing methodologies and budget control.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel.
• SAP, CMS and Power BI knowledge desirable
