Crane Operator

Work Location: Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

Roster: 8D6RNR - FIFO ex Perth or Busselton

Reporting to the Blast Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting maintenance teams in line with the scheduled plan as well as providing breakdown and break in support based on priorities. 

Key responsibilities include

  • Ensure high quality safety and continuous improvement practices
  • Carry out planned and routine fixed plant mechanical maintenance activities
  • Assist in carrying out planned and routine maintenance activities

Qualification and Experience

  • Crane operations experience
  • WA Class HR Driver's License
  • HRWL, Open Crane, Non-Slewing and Basic Rigging
  • Experience in operating LTMs
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in a strong team environment
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
