Our tight-knit team is looking for a motivated and experienced Crane Operator to become part of the Robe Valley team to provide support for the safe, efficient, forward-thinking plant maintenance to our assets. The role is a great opportunity for a motivated and safety-conscious individual looking for a new challenge.
Working a family-friendly 8 on, 6 off days shift residential roster (however nights may be required from time to time based on business requirements) and reporting to the Shutdown and Cranes Supervisor, you will be required to:
- Operate various slewing cranes and non-slewing cranes such as Leibherr LTM1130, LTM1300, Grove GMK30055, GMK7450, TMS900E, and Terex25 in single shifts
- Tow belt winders and other large loads (dozers) around site on floats and drop decks
- Assist with rigging when executing pulley changes
- Operate and carryout routine inspections of the crane
- Safely execute plant maintenance with a positive, team orientated approach to the workplace
- Carry out statutory plant and equipment inspections and record findings
- Complete a range of lifting and transportation tasks including high risk and critical work
- Complete inspections to identify faults and raise quality notifications in SAP for repairs
- Isolate equipment for maintenance requirements
- Assist with general shut down and maintenance as required
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- An Australian "HC" Class Driver’s License
- High risk license with the following classes - CO, CN, RI, LF
- Previous experience on Liebherr and Grove AT Cranes
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A positive and energetic attitude towards your work and a strong commitment to continuous improvement
