About the Role
The PMO – Cultural Heritage is seeking Principal Reporting to join the growing Cultural Heritage team within the Planning & Technical Group. The Heritage team is comprised of passionate, relationship and outcome oriented team players. The team safely delivers our heritage survey program in line with our agreements and heritage consents providing business continuity for operational activities.
They guide collaboration across multiple internal and external groups to support policy development; contribute to Agreement-making with Indigenous groups; and ensure mutually beneficial trusting, and long-term partnerships are obtained and sustained. This is an exciting opportunity to work across all Minerals Australia assets.
This position is based in Perth on a Mon – Fri roster. Flexible working conditions will be considered.
Reporting to the Manager Cultural Heritage – PMO Minerals Australia, you will be required to:
- Provide technical expertise in reporting across a portfolio of projects
- Conduct benchmarking, implement prioritisation methodologies and identify key investment drivers to effectively manage key requirements across the portfolio.
- Develop and communicate insights that guide data driven action and decision making.
- Plan, structure and develop technical reports that are clear to both technical and non-technical audiences to deliver clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Source information, plan and conduct analyses to support evidence based decision making.
- Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with extensive project management, data analysis and reporting skills. Results-orientated, you work well under pressure bringing attention to detail and an ability to meet interdependent deadlines. You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, HSE or other relevant field (preferred)
- Previous experience in the rollout of Power BI Dashboards
- Deep understanding of business context, BHP operating model and ways of working
- Previous experience in BHP Capital Projects advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project, Program and/or Portfolio Management experience (desirable)
