Cyber Security – Identity Management Specialist

Work Location: 

Perth. Fortescue’s Perth East office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: 

Monday - Friday 

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Identity Management Specialist to join Fortescue’s Digital Identity team to contribute to the delivery and ongoing management of the identity management platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the ongoing technical operations of the IAM Platform - Saviynt Security Manager (SSM)
  • Delivering the technical enhancements of the IAM Platform
  • Managing incidents relating to the IAM Platform and associated applications
  • Technical lead with troubleshooting activities and subsequent resolution of IAM Platform Issues
  • Onboarding and management of application access within the IAM Platform
  • Developing and maintaining documentation of key IAM operational processes

Key accountabilities include:

  • Configuration of the IAM Platform
  • Provision of guidance to application owners to understand access rights/controls.
  • Working alongside business analysts to ensure access controls integrate with business requirements for any new applications.
  • Design and integration of user access methods for applications.
  • Contribute to the uplift of role-based access across the enterprise.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to assist with technical, operational and strategic access control decisions.
  • Monitor and manage IAM platform availability and capacity to ensure high system availability.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes and interdependencies with other IT systems and support teams.
  • Align and comply with Fortescue’s Change, Incident and Problem Management processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a technical IT field or equivalent work or educational experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Role Based Access Controls (RBAC)
  • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) desirable
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Database development, queries, structure and connectivity
  • Experience with PowerShell, SQL, Java or other scripting
  • Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure Identity
  • Understanding of HR systems (preferably SuccessFactors) and the direct correlation to account provisioning
  • Knowledge of SSO concepts
  • Experience working with and managing vendor partner relationships.
