Data Analyst/ Junior Data Analyst

Work location: Perth, WA

Roster: Monday to Friday

As a developing organisation, we have the exciting opportunity to set a high standard and foundation, rather than attempting to alter established reporting. We work hand-in-hand with our data team to deliver quality at speed.

An ideal candidate is a hard worker who knows the intricacies of Power BI, can develop high-quality-reports to tight deadlines, can write SQL queries or is willing to learn.

Key responsibilities:

• Be capable of understanding any subject matter to a point where you can determine key requirements from stakeholders
• Prepare SQL queries to achieve efficient/optimal data modelling and refresh speeds
• Build useful reports with layout & functionality that is user-friendly, intuitive, digestible and spatially-efficient
• Build visually-pleasing reports with high-quality visual that follow our format/templates
• Build responsive reports with optimal interactivity and succinct number of visuals

Qualifications and skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree (or Equivalent) in Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Business, Commerce or Science
• Minimum – 1-3 years experience using Power BI
• Minimum - Experience writing code in the form of DAX, Python or SQL
• Preferable - Experience working in the Resources/Projects sectors
