Our iron ore has shaped skylines from Shanghai to Sydney. Our aluminium – the world’s first to be certified “responsible” – helps planes fly and makes cars lighter. Our copper helps wind turbines power cities and our boron helps feed the world, and explore the universe.
Our diamonds help us celebrate the best parts of life.
Where you will be working
The People function supports over 50 000 employees in 35 countries globally and operates out of three business hubs in Brisbane, Perth and Montreal. People Data and Analytics roles have diverse, multi-industry backgrounds and comprehensive skills in the fields of reporting, data transformation, data analysis and visualization. These skills are used to turn data into information that can be used to make improved decisions and generate competitive advantage for Rio Tinto.
You will be encouraged to collaborate and to be continually improving and sharing your skills and knowledge across the team. We accept that no-one can know everything, which is why team working is so important to us. We are looking for someone with curiosity for the unknown, self-awareness and humility to admit what you don’t know but share what you do – and an energy to keep learning and building your skills.
