The Decarb HME Delivery Planner / Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling integrated schedules that enable the safe and coordinated delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance, mining, testing, build, commissioning, and HME delivery activities across multiple sites.
Working closely with Mining, Maintenance, project teams, Asset Management, and OEM partners, the role maintains 1-2 week integrated plan and a 48 hour execution schedules, coordinating resources and logistics to minimise operational disruption and maintain operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 1–2-week integrated plans and 248-hour execution schedules incorporating Maintenance, Mining, DVP and Build and Commissioning, teams
- Maintain and distribute HME Delivery schedules, providing weekly updates and alignment across Mining, Maintenance, Decarb teams, and OEM partners.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment, work locations, and other critical resources to optimise utilisation and support safe, on-time execution.
- Review fleet allocations, OEM build and delivery schedules, and operational constraints, updating HME Delivery schedules to reflect changing priorities and asset availability.
- Monitor schedule performance and identify risks, delays, conflicts, or resource constraints, working with stakeholders to agree recovery actions and maintain schedule accuracy.
- Support equipment build and commissioning activities, including coordinating flights and accommodation and providing travel forecasts for OEM build teams.
- Coordinate internal HME transfers between Fortescue operations in collaboration with AMM and schedule transport activities to align equipment availability with operational requirements.
- Work closely with project and operational teams to align HME delivery activities with broader objectives, provide schedule reporting to leadership, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance, mining, project, or HME delivery activities within mining or heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of mobile equipment operations, maintenance requirements, and site constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to develop integrated and short-interval schedules, manage competing priorities, and coordinate multiple resources.
- Strong schedule control, analytical, and reporting capability, including identification of risks, delays, and recovery actions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a strong commitment to safe execution.
Desirable
- Relevant planning, scheduling in SAP, logistics, trade, engineering, or project delivery qualification.
- Experience supporting HME build, commissioning, fleet deployment, transport, or asset transfers.
- Exposure to battery-electric HME, charging infrastructure, or decarbonisation programs.
- Experience coordinating travel, accommodation, transport providers, and Purchase Orders.
