About the role Our team is looking for a Department Secretary to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Cape Lambert Port CLA Operations Team. This role is full of rewarding challenges and role diversity. A truly fantastic opportunity to showcase your strong administrative skills in this varied role.
Working 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off roster, and reporting to the CLA Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Calendar management and meeting organisation
- Travel administration
- Technical writing (development of presentations, strategy documents etc)
- Meeting administration (agenda preparation, actions, minutes etc)
- Credit card management
- Running reports to track Department KPIs (HSE, Training etc)
- General administration support for Maintenance leaders
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A Current C Class manual driver’s license
- Experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage tasks and multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Sharepoint
- Experience using SAP (desired)

Where you will be working Our four independent shipping terminals at two locations, Cape Lambert and Dampier, are managed as a single port system. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, product stockpiling and blending, and ship loading. Employees reside in Wickham which is located 1,572 km north of Perth and 13 km north of Roebourne in the Pilbara region of Western Australia with Karratha being the closest town. Wickham is a fascinating historic town boasting pristine sandy beaches and excellent fishing spots.
