ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the ground level of a rapidly expanding, dynamic, global green energy business. We are currently seeking a number of Development Engineers to join our newly created team to develop and deliver FFI’s hydrogen and renewable energy strategy. We're looking for highly collaborative team players who are willing and able to take initiative and think for themselves but know we get a better outcome when we work together.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- As part of the FFI East Australia and NZ Team, support screening, concept and pre-feasibility activities associated with energy supply, water supply, land, port and other enabling requirements associated with renewable energy and green hydrogen production projects.
- Assist in the management of external and internal technical service providers
- Work closely with technical and project streams as development projects move into pre-feasibility etc
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science and / or Project Management
- 4-5yrs Engineering or PM experience in a similar role
- Experience in renewables (wind preferred), heavy industry or consultancy
- Must have good communications skills and ability to work in a changing environment.
- Candidates must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking, and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone
