About the Role
Our Broadmeadow Production Development team are seeking an ERZ Controller to join a technically motivated and results-driven team.
Working a rotating 7:7 day/ night roster you will assess hazard/risks against the underground mine site standards and implement management, control and reporting procedures where a hazard/risk reaches 'unacceptable' status.
Reporting to the Superintendent Production Development (CMO) this role will see you accountable for managing safety and productivity.

We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership and communication skills. Your interpersonal skills will foster collaborative working relationships and your ability to consolidate and analyse information will provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude.
You will have access to technology that will enable you to work flexibly, which is key to BHP’s success in addressing the requirements of a diverse workforce.
Key requirements include:
- Demonstrated Underground Coal experience in a similar role with a focus on Development work is advantageous.
- Current Section 4 Health Assessment Report;
- Valid Driver’s Licence;
- Signed copies of training transcripts and / or authorisations.
- QLD Deputy Certificate / Mutual Recognition
- S123 & G2
- First Aid / Provide Pain Management
