About the Role

The role can be based in Singapore, Australia (Perth), India (Bangalore) or Philippines (Manila)

As a DevOps Lead, you will be a part of a wider team accountable for designing, delivering and maintaining applications in the Marketing & Maritime (Outbound) portfolio.  You will support and enhance primarily Non-ERP applications in a variety of technology stacks, as well as contribute to the strategic roadmap and overall application landscape.

In your role you will:

  • Lead a team of off-shore DevOps resources in the support and maintenance of our existing application portfolio, including enhancements, bug fixes and cyber-security remediations.
  • Drive improvements and promote sustainable, industry-standard CI/CD patterns.
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap of the team by owning application life cycle and rationalisation opportunities.
  • Ensure the successful transition of in-flight projects into support.
  • Coach team members in low-level code debugging and development.
  • Work with a variety of technologies including C# .NET Core/Python, React/Angular, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, Git/Terraform, AWS/Azure, as well as SaaS and Desktop based software.
  • Report on and monitor team performance; make proactive decisions on resourcing and capacity.
  • Establish relationships with vendor support teams and other key internal teams.

About You

  • Experience in the Maritime industry (Chartering and/or Voyage Operations)
  • Strong Experience engineering CI/CD pipelines and supporting a range of technology applications, ideally within mining or commodities industries.
  • Good understanding of digital roadmap implementation and management of application life cycle.
  • Outstanding stakeholders engagement skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt new tools and ways of working.
  • A high attention to detail, product quality and integrity.
  • Excellent multitasker, ability to operate at a fast pace, changing environment.
  • Positive team player who is respectful and empathetic.
