Digger Fitter

We're on the lookout for an experienced Digger Fitter to join our site-based maintenance team.  Step into a hands-on role where you’ll tackle planned services, breakdowns, and repairs for our onsite Digger fleet located 2 hours from Mackay, Queensland. This is your chance to show off your skills and make an impact!

The Offer -

• Full-Time Positions: Starting from $71 per hour + superannuation
• Vehicle Allowance (DIDO): $30K per annum, paid fortnightly—call for details!
• FIFO/BIBO options with paid Qld fights
• 7/7 Rotating Roster: Minimum 12-hour shifts | Camp & meals provided
• 190 Hours Paid Annual Leave
• Paid Travel Time | Fortnightly Pay Cycle
• $5K Refer-a-Mate Bonus for Trade roles only
• Extra Shift Incentive: For hours worked outside your 7/7 roster

What is your day-to-day going to look like?

• Fleet Maintenance: Breakdown support, planned maintenance, and servicing.
• • 2 x Hitachi 3600 
  • Hitachi 5600
  • Liebherr 996
  • Liebherr 9600
• Quality Control: Ensure repairs meet company guidelines and cost targets.
• Collaborate: Work with Emeco/Force customers to achieve company goals.

 What are you bringing to the table?

• Australian Working Rights: Must have full working rights in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship.
• Trade Certificate: Australian recognised qualification in Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant
• Mine Site Exposure: Experience with large heavy plant equipment
• Safety Awareness: Coal mining safety and ability to pass a Coal Board Medical
• Driver’s Licence: Current Australian licence (mandatory)
• Tickets: Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift (highly regarded)
• Surface Standard 11: Willingness to obtain if not already held
