We are looking for a Digital Communications Adviser to join our team to support our Group website, riotinto.com, along with our country sites. You will be part of a small, agile team working across the globe and play a fundamental role in executing our strategy and producing high-quality output on the Sitecore platform.

In this role, you will:
- Support the upkeep of our global corporate external site, riotinto.com, and country sites ensuring alignment with brand strategy and Rio Tinto standards
- Create briefs and complete UAT testing for new components
- Respond to and troubleshoot website issues, in collaboration with our digital agency
- Assist in the execution of SEO strategies and maintain awareness of developments in the SEO field
- Proactively identify performance gaps on the Group website and propose improvements
- Evaluate, analyse and report on channel performance data
- Creation and manipulation of images and multimedia
- Provide support for Google ads campaigns
- Assist with preparing web analytics reports
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the timely and accurate publication of Group and country website content
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital or any other related field
- 3-5 years’ experience working with different CMS platforms and tools, with Sitecore platform experience highly regarded
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS, competency in Adobe Creative Suite of applications and, experience with multimedia editing tools
- UX knowledge including experience with user acceptance testing and creating briefs
- Understanding of SEO principles, content optimisation and Google Ads
- Adaptability to evolving digital trends and technologies.
- Outstanding people skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and energetic, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic
Where you will be working
This role will be based in one of central CBD offices in the capital cities of Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth. The role is part of a global team and will require flexibility to connect with global teams.
