Title: Document Controller – Green Fleet Development
Work location: Perth based (Hazelmere)
Roster: 5/2 roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet
Based at our new Hazelmere R&D facility, with WFH days, we presently have an opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join the Green Fleet Development team. We are a friendly, close-knit team committed to our goal of a greener future!
Key accountabilities will include assisting our Senior Document Controller with the following tasks:
- Processing documentation, including vendor data, in accordance with prescribed procedures and time schedules
- Entering & updating electronic copies of internally produced data and vendor data into the electronic document management systems (PIMS)
- Management of document review workflows
- Allocating and controlling the numbering of documents and drawings
- SharePoint site administration
- Maintaining a high level of metadata capture to facilitate retrieval of records, including plant and equipment numbering
Qualifications and skills required:
- Minimum of 3 years Document Control experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of electronic document management systems, PIMS experience ideal but not required
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Word packages
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
