About the role
An opportunity exists for a driven and outcomes-focused Manager to join FFI’s recently established Technology Hub in Colorado to establish, drive and coordinate the application and management of our DOE funding program.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of the available DOE funding programs
- Work closely with the Manager R&D Strategy to plan and identify which DOE grants to apply for
- Secure DOE funding by driving the preparation and management of funding applications/bid
- Manage and direct staff to support with the completion of funding applications/bid
- Ensure contractual performance and financial milestones of successful DOE applications
- Develop and manage strong relationships with DOE funding bodies
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Demonstrated track record in the successful application and management of DOE funding applications
- Extensive knowledge of DOE requirements for funding applications/bid
- Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with DOE officials
- Analyse contractual performance and complete budget tracking
- Highly developed communication (written, oral and presentation) skill
