Job Responsibilities
Join the King of the Hills Mine Project team as an EXPERIENCED Underground Drill Fitter who will be responsible in looking after our raise drill rigs in a safe manner and in accordance to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations.
About the role
FIFO from Perth
2:2 Nights/Days roster (flying back from Day Shift)
7% market uplift bonus - paid quarterly
Project Location: King of the Hills Gold Mine is located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia 28km north of Leonora.
Roles and Responsibilities not limited to:
• Carrying out scheduled servicing and providing technical support in a safe an efficient manger;
• Providing diagnostics and repairs to breakdowns on site;
• Keeping appropriate maintenance records; and
• Maintaining high level of housekeeping in your work area.
About you:
• Previous experience in a similar role, accompanied by Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Previous experience working on Raise Drills such as; Herrenknecht, Robbins, Epiroc and Atlas Copco as well as Volvo IT’s;
• Extensive underground mining experience;
• Demonstrated diagnostic and fault finding skills;
• Strong communication skills
• High regard to safety; and
• Current MANUAL Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
