Drill Fitter

Join the Macmahon Underground Maintenance team as an experiences Drill fitter overseeing and coordinating maintenance repair and activities across the drill fleet.

About the Role

• Overseeing and coordinating maintenance and repair activities across the drill fleet
• 8:6 Day Shift Roster
• FIFO from Perth
• Managing scheduled Drill Service Days to ensure efficient workflow
• Attending underground operations as required to carry out daily inspections and repairs
• Handling parts procurement and applying strong diagnostic skills to identify faults
• Completing daily servicing alongside the team, followed by assisting with additional maintenance tasks and machine servicing as needed
• Opportunity for career progression for the right candidate with ongoing OEM training.

About you

• Previous underground Fitter experience with advanced knowledge on Sandvik Drills (i Series and DD421)
• Relevant Cert III/ Trade Certificate
• Knowledge of a range of equipment
• Detailed knowledge of mining and safety regulations
• Current C Class Drivers Licence - manual
• Current Australian Working Rights
• Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
