Work Location: Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

Roster: 7D7N7R – FIFO ex Perth and Busselton

Fortescue are currently seeking suitably qualified Drillers to join our Drill & Blast teams across various sites. Reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, your role will be to operate D65 and Pit Viper drill rigs at maximum efficiency, while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards, to achieve required operational targets for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with FMG values
• Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis
• Meet daily operational targets
• Maintain assets to operational capacity
• Constantly strive to increase process efficiency

Qualifications and experience:

• Previous experience in similar role
• D65 and Pit Viper experience
• Senior First Aid Certification and C Class Manual Driver’s License
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Basic computer skills and time management skills
• Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs
