About The Role
Whitehaven Coal are seeking experienced Drillers to work at Maules Creek Mine to safely and efficiently operate CAT MD6290 blast hole drills.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure drill rigs, machinery and equipment and effectively operated to optimise profitability of the site’s operations
- Ensure highest levels of quality is maintained and report any maintenance faults or issues
- Work with minimal supervision and in a coordinated manner with peers
- Demonstrate visible safe working practices and a commitment to safety in the workplace
What You’ll Bring
Operators with a demonstrated commitment to safety, a solid work-ethic and a willingness to contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Drilling experience - blast hole, exploration or water bore considered
- Ability to work day and night shifts on the lifestyle roster
- Live local to the Gunnedah area or willing to relocate
- Current Drivers Licence
