Working in our operation in Kwinana as an Electrical & Instrument Technician in the fixed plant maintenance team,and reporting to the Electrical /Instrument Supervisor on a daily basis you’ll be provided with the tools to work within a zero-harm safety culture.  With our support, you’ll also ensure targeted plant and equipment availability. Your core duties will include;

•    Inspection, service and repair of plant and equipment; •    Test and calibrate instrumentation as required; •    Overhaul / assemble equipment in a workshop environment; •    Actively participate in safety initiatives and systems to ensure all work is carried out safely; and •    Adhere to site housekeeping standards

About You

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability work with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the business. You will have the following skills and attributes:

•    Electrical Trade Qualification •    WA Electrical Licence •    Previous experience in a similar position in the mining industry •    Cert IV in Instrumentation •    Valid WA Drivers Licence •    High Risk Tickets EWP, Forklift (desirable)  •    HV Switching Ticket •    Radiation Safety Officer (desirable) •    Supervised Gas Fitter (desirable) •    Hazardous area maintenance and detailed inspection
