We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in powering the future of mining operations.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Anticipate & proactively resolve potential problems to ensure a zero-harm environment through design/ formulation of technical solutions.
• Working with advanced technology to cater for green energy demand.
• Utilise Data Analysis/Machine Learning and Dashboards to assist with predictive maintenance.
• Manage and deliver small to medium size projects.
• Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into mining equipment, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and provide ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Root Cause Analysis and Defect Elimination.
• Respond to Electrical breakdowns and provide technical assistance to the site operations team.

Qualification and Experience: 

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within processing environment Previous project management experience.
• Proven experience with leading root cause analysis investigations.
• Previous experience with VSDs, Protection relays and Power system analysis.
• Demonstrated competency in use of SAP.
