We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in powering the future of mining operations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Anticipate & proactively resolve potential problems to ensure a zero-harm environment through design/ formulation of technical solutions.
- Working with advanced technology to cater for green energy demand.
- Utilise Data Analysis/Machine Learning and Dashboards to assist with predictive maintenance.
- Manage and deliver small to medium size projects.
- Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into mining equipment, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Develop preventive maintenance programs and provide ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Root Cause Analysis and Defect Elimination.
- Respond to Electrical breakdowns and provide technical assistance to the site operations team.
Qualification and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within processing environment Previous project management experience.
- Proven experience with leading root cause analysis investigations.
- Previous experience with VSDs, Protection relays and Power system analysis.
- Demonstrated competency in use of SAP.
