ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent as drive in, drive out role from Collie.
As the Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the design services multi-disciplined engineering and drafting team providing engineering to support the operation.
Your primary responsibility will be for providing safe and timely low voltage and instrumentation engineering and commissioning support for Brownfield tollgated projects in line with South32 Worsley and Australian Standards.
Typically, this includes engineering fit-for-purpose solutions, provision of estimates and work packs, ensuring blueprint information is correct and providing commissioning support from the start of a project through to the handover.
Where workload dictates, duties also include managing external engineering service providers.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in an applicable industry
- A broad range of Industrial Low Voltage power and control equipment such as motors, MCCs and VSD’s
- A broad range of instrumentation and Industrial control systems
- Equipment commissioning
Qualifications for this position are:
- Degree Electrical, Instrument or Mechatronics Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia), or
- Experience and proven performance that enables work execution at a level that would otherwise be expected from a person with an engineering qualification
