Job Tasks and Responsibilities

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Team at Ashton Coal Operation.

Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, this is a unique opportunity to develop your engineering skills and experience in the mining industry.

Some key tasks will include;

• Providing electrical engineering support and advice to the site
• Develop and review electrical standards and practices
• Participate and contribute to key business projects

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in an electrical engineering discipline (mandatory)
• Working towards or interest in obtaining statutory electrical engineering certificate of competency
• Experience using SAP (highly desirable)
• 1-2 years' experience in the Mining Industry (underground mining highly desirable)
