About the role We are looking for a Shutdown Execution-Electrical Inspector with an Electrical trade background who has a good understanding of work management processes and systems to join the Yandicoogina Shut Maintenance Team to ensure that all shutdowns are properly reviewed and understood before commencement. This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with strong teamwork values and the desire to complete work to a high standard. 

Working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster and reporting to the Statutory Electrical Supervisor – Fixed Plant Shut, you will be required to:

  • Attend all shutdown planning meetings
  • Coordinate scoping activities for shutdowns
  • Manage Work Order reviews for future shutdowns
  • Liaise with Planners to ensure resourcing, equipment, parts and parts availability will be available
  • Understand inspection activities and coordinate during shutdowns
  • Plan and execute Electrical Outages with all relevant parties affected
  • Review workorder feedback post shutdown and ensure subsequent notifications and scopes are captured in CMMS’s for processing
  • Assist planners with work order creation and planning
  • Assist shut supervisor with arranging post shut activities - maintenance returns, offsite repair parts, yard clean 

About you To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: 

  • West Australian Electrical Trade Certificate
  • High Voltage Switching Certificate
  • Australian "C" Class manual Drivers’ licence
  • Experience in a fixed plant mineral processing environment
  • Familiar with SAP or similar maintenance system
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Technically skilled with a suitable amount of shutdown experience
  • Previous experience in Permit writing and procedures
  • Ambitious to improve the asset health and reliability of the plant
