One of Australia’s largest mines and a complex minerals processing operation, Olympic Dam, is unique in that we produce Copper, Uranium, Gold and Silver. Please note this position is based at Olympic Dam, operating on a 7/7 roster pattern arrangement with residential, FIFO (from Adelaide) or DIDO options available.
The position will report to the Supervisor of the Surface Electrical Maintenance Execution team. You will work closely with the Surface Maintenance and production teams, helping perform both planned and unplanned electrical maintenance across all Surface areas.
In this role you will:
• Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day • Assist with any planned electrical maintenance and complete tasks in a timely manner • Provide electrical trade skills to perform unplanned or breakdown maintenance across all areas of Surface operations • Work with your team to a high level of accountability and be able to build strong team relationships • Provide Feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on job progress

About You
• Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way • Electrical Trade necessary (SA Electrical license or ability to gain one) • Instrumentation qualifications and/or experience highly regarded • Hazardous Area experience advantageous • Must have solid time management skills and be able to prioritise • Need to be safety minded, with proven ability to demonstrate HSEC behaviours • Able to work effectively in a team environment and work individually • Ability to communicate well across multiple levels and disciplines
