About the role
We are looking for an Electrical Maintainer Operator Generation to contribute to the maintenance, reliability, and operational needs of the Utilities department at Paraburdoo.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrical technician with working knowledge of gas turbines to join our close-knit team in Paraburdoo on an 8/6 FIFO roster.

Reporting to the Superintendent Utilities Paraburdoo and working in a challenging and exciting environment within Utilities operations you will be:
- Maintaining and Operating the GE LM6000 gas turbine generations in a safe and efficient manner to ensure operational needs are met
- Ensure maintenance tasks are executed to a high-quality standard so that re-work is not required
- Using SAP to raise notifications, complete time confirmations and enter reliability and maintenance activity information
- Effectively communicating and consulting with other maintenance teams and various stakeholders
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- WA “A” Grade Electrical Licence
- WA C Class manual driver’s licence
- Cert IV Instrumentation with demonstrated experience
- Knowledge of PLC and Citect control systems
- HV Switching Qualifications
- Demonstrated strong health and safety performance
- Experience using SAP
- Power generation or gas turbine maintenance experience, specifically GE LM6000 (desirable)
- Operation and maintenance experience in reverse osmosis water treatment plant’s (desirable)
- Hazardous Area Training and experience (desirable)
- Industrial Gas Fitting, type B appliance training and experience (desirable)
