About the role

This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the team at the Dendrobium Coal Preparation Plant, reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent.

You will be a key member of our team who contributes to the delivery of the maintenance planning and execution within the plant, enabling the operation to perform to its required operating capacity, operating time, operating efficiency and reliability.

Key Accountabilities

• Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities including developing job scope, identifying plant interactions, engaging suitable work parties, development of job packs and procurement of spares and materials
• Develop and contribute to the site 12 weekly maintenance planning cycle including routine and shutdown maintenance activities
• Facilitate and contribute to weekly planning and shutdown meetings
• Ensures execution activities are conducted safely by competent personnel in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures
• Conduct regular in field interactions ensuring compliance to site safety requirements and material risk management
• Provide technical support for operations and associated activities
• Identify improvement opportunities in plant and processes and facilitate implementation of solutions

About you   

• Electrical Trade Certificate, Degree or Associate Diploma in a relevant Maintenance Engineering field
• Experience working in similar role within Heavy Industry or Fixed Plant operation
• Experience with SAP work management
• Demonstrated ability to contribute, influence and make decisions within multi-functional teams.

Location

The position will be based at our Dendrobium Coal Processing Plant located in Port Kembla in the coastal city of Wollongong and approximately 75 kilometres south and southwest of Sydney.
