About the Role

BMA’s Broadmeadow Mine Site is currently seeking a motivated applicant to fill a Coordinator Maintenance Electrical role to support the Maintenance Department, working under the Outbye Maintenance Superintendent.  A commitment to zero harm, teamed with high work standards and respect for others is fundamental to our high performance culture. The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements:  

•    Previous Electrical Supervision or Coordinating Qualification •    Working knowledge of gas monitoring systems & ventilation •    Knowledge of Dupline belt control systems  •    Understanding of VVVF Drives  •    Knowledge of PLC & SCADA systems  •    Previous experience in working in SAP •    Previous experience working in an underground Mine Site environment •    A genuine commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace •    Exemplary track record of performance and alignment with BMA Charter Values •    Willingness to participate in a multi-skilled and diverse team committed to ensuring the coal handling and processing operations support production and quality targets •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •    Willingness and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance for coal processing and handling processes •    Demonstrated compliance with relevant mine safety procedures, SWI’s, SOP’s and rules.
