About the role
This is a full-time permanent role on a 7:7 roster, FIFO Darwin or Cairns or can be offered as residential.
As the Maintenance Planner for Electrical Fixed Plant and NPI, your role is to ensure that all activities are planned and scheduled within the company’s guidelines of safety, timeliness, quality and within defined work deliverables.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain weekly schedules for fixed plant and NPI electrical maintenance.
- Upload the weekly schedule into the weekly planning tool for equipment availability forecast.
- Attend and facilitate weekly planning and scheduling meetings.
- Develop and maintain the cost estimates for a 12-week forecasted schedule of maintenance activities.
- Perform in-field task reviews to ensure actual work performed is aligned with the planned work and identify if any changes are required.
- Update SAP Master data and recommend master data improvements.
- Demonstrate and encourage behaviour to deliver planned output within business objectives while promoting and building a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in defect elimination and asset tactic development and improvement.
About you
- Trade Certificate or recognised technical knowledge in Electrical field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within heavy industry, preferably mining.
- Demonstrated ability in building relationships and working effectively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and be decisive under pressure.
- Computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project, and preferably SAP
