Work Location: Perth Office - Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people. Ad hoc site travel as required.

Summary:
Reporting to the Superintendent Engineering Green HME, the Electrical Reliability Specialist will support our decarbonisation electric heavy mining equipment program. This role will bring site reliability, electrical maintenance and operational experience to help design for reliability, reduce risk and support safe, reliable fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design for reliability and develop derisking pathways for critical key process controls.
- Manage electrical access and site procedures, including isolation requirements.
- Develop and manage electrical and battery maintenance strategies.
- Interface with asset management, asset health and business-as-usual specialists.
- Develop bowtie analysis for critical safety and reliability systems on electric machines.
- Standardise and develop electrical access standards and checklists for original equipment manufacturers.
- Develop electrical maintenance strategies for electrified and new machine components.
- Develop asset health parameter lists and manage interfaces to ensure asset health is available from day one.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in site reliability, electrical maintenance or asset management, ideally in a mining environment.
- Electrical reliability experience across heavy mining equipment or comparable mobile equipment.
- Practical understanding of maintenance, operations, isolation and site access procedures.
- Experience developing maintenance strategies, reliability controls or asset health requirements.
- Ability to work with engineering, maintenance, operations, asset management and original equipment manufacturer stakeholders.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
