Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Shift Area Leader, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

• Manage and supervise all electrical activities on shift.
• Provide technical support and direction in relation to electrical maintenance and operations.
• Maintain safety and electrical standards.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

• Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering qualifications.
• Understanding of the NSW Coal Mining Legislation and how they relate to underground mining processes.
• Superior problem solving ability.
• Previous experience as a supervisor at a modern longwall operation.
• Ability to build, coach and lead the shift electrical team.
