About the role 

We have a vacancy for an Electrical Supervisor. The role will report to the Utilities Maintenance Superintendent on an 8 days on, 6 days off day shift roster.  

The main focus for this role will be to provide safety and technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to a team of electrical maintainers carrying out inspections, scheduled maintenance, operation of assets and breakdown maintenance to Utilities Assets :  

  • Electrical transmission and distribution 

  • Waste Water treatment infrastructure 

  • Potable water infrastructure 

  • Fuel terminal and other hydrocarbon assets 

You will also be responsible for:  

  • Ensuring that maintenance is of a high quality and re-work is not required 

  • Good leadership and communication skills 

  • Delegate daily work utilising team strengths 

  • Use SAP to raise and approve notifications, maintain team capacities and ensure maintenance activity information is updated 

  • Work with the Asset Management team supporting capital projects 

  • Ensuring our service providers are working safely 

  • Implement Contractor Management System steps 

  • Meet the  requirements set out in the WHS (mines) Regs 2022 to perform the role of Electrical Supervisor  

  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver's License (Manual) 

What you’ll bring  

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:  

  • Understanding of RTIO HSEQ safety systems  

  • WA Electrical Licence  

  • Western Australian C class driver’s licence 

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP 

  • Contractor management supervision (desirable)   

  • Stakeholder and customer focussed with a collaborative approach. 

  • Basis knowledge and understanding PLCs and Citect systems 

  • Western Australian Heavy Rigid driver’s licence (desirable) 

  • High Risk Work Licences in LF, WP, CV, DG, RG, C6 (desirable) 

  • High voltage switching Cert and experience 

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

This role will be based across the Eastern Pilbara (various locations available) on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster. – FIFO from Perth.
