About the Role

We are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to lead a team at our busy Dewatering Maintenance workshop based at Jimblebar,  you will be a key contributor in building a team who deliver Generator and Bore maintenance activities to ensure compliance with weekly maintenance schedules, operating standards and defined processes. You will be based at our Jimblebar mine site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, on an attractive fly-in fly-out 8/6 7/7 FIFO roster.   Our FIFO villages have a wide range of facilities and all rooms have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning to help you unwind, relax and sleep well.  We know the more time you can spend at home the better, so in addition to our flights out of Perth, our Jimblebar and Newman operations are now offering those that live in WA’s beautiful South West region direct flights from Busselton.   Reporting to the Superintendent Dewatering Maintenance, you will play an integral role by:  

•             Being first and foremost focused on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing and coaching your team •             Identifying, building and developing team capability through ongoing and regular coaching and development •             Prioritising the execution of work based on condition of risk of equipment to prevent unplanned failures and supervise the execution of the weekly work schedule  •             Planning and scheduling break in work as based on risk of equipment failure within a 7 day period •             Identifying and implementing Maintenance Execution improvement initiatives with support from Maintenance Analysis & Improvement (A&I) •             Allocating resources to achieve optimal maintenance outcomes as part of work activity planning  •             Supporting continued development and mentorship to your team and ensure competency of individual maintainers in the safe performance of their duties.

About You

To be successful in this role it is likely that you will have the following:  

•             A current Statutory WA Electrical license    •             Experience working in Generator Maintenance preferred  •             Previous supervisory experience or Step Up Supervisory experience   •             Sound knowledge and understanding in SAP  •             The confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others in ‘Safety Leadership’ •             Experience with local safety and statutory regulations will be advantageous •             Quality focused with a drive to achieve results for the team •             Ability to balance multiple incoming priorities and effectively deliver on customer expectations  •             Confidence to work across a range of disciplines and levels to foster mutually beneficial and cohesive relationships,  •             Together with your well-developed interpersonal skills will ensure your success.
