Electrical Technician
Swick
Swick are looking for licensed Electricians to join our expanding team. These roles will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of all electrical builds and rebuilds as well as assist with timely maintenance and repair on all surface and underground equipment on site.
Additionally, they will assist with training and implementation of specific diagnostic knowledge to operations and other personnel.
The Role Duties are (but not limited to) the following:
- Servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and fault-finding on underground equipment, including high voltage and control circuitry, to ensure safe, optimum operation is sustained
- Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock
- Develop, train and supervise more junior Maintenance team members, in a technical capacity
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting of all relevant safety hazards
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria:
- 3 – 5 years previous experience in the mining industry/heavy industrial sector
- Current WA Electrical Worker's License
- Current C Class manual Driver’s License
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen)
- Current police clearance
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
- Hydraulic and Mechanical aptitude
