Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance department at Cadia. This person will ensure assets and electrical installations are maintained to the relevant Australian standards.
Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Fixed Plant Electrical, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on fixed plant
- Maintain constant awareness of current Production and Maintenance schedules and plans
- Identification and documentation of potential equipment enhancements within our maintenance fixed plant
- Implementation of fixed plant continuous improvement strategies and projects
- Ensure all plant and equipment faults are reported, documented and managed
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess an Electrical Licence and Trade Qualifications supported by previous experience in heavy industrial or the mining industry. You will have a positive attitude to work and safety, with a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience at working in high performing teams. As a strong communicator you will have the ability to work effectively with all levels of the business and will be adept in problem solving skills, covering complex technical problems.
