Electrician - Fixed Plant

Work Location: Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people

Roster: 7D/7N/14R – FIFO ex Perth

Fortescue is seeking an experienced Electrician / Instrumentation Technician with relevant mining experience within an Ore Processing Facility or similar environment.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Breakdown and preventative maintenance on the Ore Processing Facility assets
  • Daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
  • Diagnostics & fault finding
  • Raising notifications and work orders
  • Modular and shutdown maintenance
  • Statutory testing and inspections

Qualifications and skills:

  • Current WA 'A' class electrical workers licence and High Voltage ticket
  • Basic instrumentation experience
  • Experience in PLC systems and control communication systems
  • Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
  • Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
  • Experience in CMMS - SAP
