Electrician Experienced

Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Supervisor – Electrical, this position is responsible to deliver safe, high-quality and compliant Electrical repair work, maintenance, installations and inspections as required by the NPI team. The successful execution of this work will be paramount in the site achieving safety and production targets. NPI Maintains assets across the entire mine site operations and camp facilities including but not limited to accommodation buildings, offices, workshops, and MAL Laboratories, RO and Wastewater Plants as well as fuel and lubrication delivery and storage facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • High safety focus and risk perception at all times
  • Carry out planned and breakdown repairs on electrical equipment and installations
  • Use of SAP to create notifications, close out work orders and time confirmations
  • Actively participate in daily, toolbox and safety meetings
  • Comply with company procedures, policies and life saving choices at all times
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to undertaking tasks
  • Report all hazards and incidents within the workplace

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Current WA Electrical license
  • Current Drivers license
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Electrical installations, repairs, inspections, fault finding to assets and facilities.
  • Knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control systems
