About the role:
Reporting to the HSE Manager, our Emergency Management Coordinator will facilitate emergency response team training/ debriefs following training exercises and liaise with vendors regarding supply of emergency response equipment and services.
Other duties include responding to emergencies, participate in IMT when required, maintain portable fire equipment (Extinguishers, hose reels, eye wash stations), service and maintain emergency response equipment and inspect/ resupply underground refuge chambers /FAB and emergency ladderways in adherence to safety matrix and review emergency management plans.
About You:
Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in 2005. One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production.
Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant. Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally. The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.

- Cert IV pre-hospital care
- Cert III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (RII30719)
- Enterprise Trainer & Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00015)
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE40116) highly regarded
- S123 (QMS) Site Supervisor, Work at Heights, First Aid & CPR certificate
- High Risk Work Licenses highly regarded (rigging & forklift)
- 2+ years experience in a mine rescue or industry equivalent
- 5/2 4/3 residential roster
- Travel allowances $$$
- 5 Weeks Annual Leave
- Meals & Accommodation provided by the company OR $15,000 Net Residential Allowance to reside locally

- 8 Year Mine Life - working direct for the Mine Owner/Operator
